Rt. Barjaci Coastal Gun Battery
Site of historic interest: coastal defence
This coastal gun battery from the Yugoslav era consists of four visible gun emplacements constructed of concrete and with the surviving frame work of a concealment scheme that seems to have involved the the construction of mock cottages over each emplacement. The skeleton of the roofs survive along with the outer walls and an indication that that front of each emplacement was covered with some sort of removable cover, possibly a canvas curtain that would have been painted to look like the front wall a stone cottage.
Land access to this site is uncertain (we have viewed it from the sea.)
