Trogir: Kanal and Park
On the quieter, northern or landward side of the island on which old town Trogir sits there is a kanal that separates the island from the mainland (and much of new town Trogir). There is a nice prominade along the edge of this kanal which is the mooring for a multitude of smaller local boats. Between the kanal path and the town there is also a park that has the potential to provide nice shaded places to sit and walk but always seems dry, dusty and neglected whenever we visit.
Around halfway along the Kanal is a nice footbridge constructed in wood and forming a single wide arch over the kanal it links the old town to both the large public car park on the mainland and also to the west end of the Trogir Market.
The foot path is worth a wander along once you have exhausted other things to do in the town or if you are heading for the mainland shore anyway.
In a public park.
Trogir: on the north side of the old town.
