Vrboska, Historic buildings
Walk, Sites of historic interest: architectural
It is from here that you can start walks to the beaches and nudist beaches to the north. Around the bridges and the older buildings of the town or to Jelsa along the coastal path. It is also worth looking around some of the back streets immediately south and south-east of the bridge where you will find many signs of Vrboska’s Venetian past in the form of architectural details (windows and doors - either blocked, moved or still in use) as you wind your way towards the fortified church of Sv Marjia.
Vrboska can be accessed by road (car or bus) and is an important anchorage/mooring on the north shore of Hvar with an ACI marina and Town quay. Wander freely through the streets and alleys of the town
