This marina was under development during our visit in July 2010 and might better at that time have been described as a harbour wall. Since that time the site development has been completed as part of the development of the Martinis Marchi Hotel which is located behind the marina. As part of the development the floating pontoon has been removed and a new harbour wall (90 metres long) has been built to shelter the site.
The marina now boasts 50 berths for vessels up to 30 metres in length all against a newly refurbished stone quay with power and water laid on for each berth and a new shower and toilet facility behind.
This site provides a perfect stopping point for those heading from the north-west and on their way to Split or Torgir, though it is likely to be very busy on a Friday during the season as it is perfectly located for a last night stop before returning a charter boat to either of these locations or to Kremik. During our 2011 visit we planned a stop here (on a Friday) and looked into the harbour (observing the new harbour wall) only to find there was no space.
There are good alternatives if space is a problem, including the anchorage options further out in the same bay (weather permitting) or the very sheltered and beautiful anchorage of Mala Luka just to the west on Veli Drevnik.
One note of caution is on price - this is a beautiful and now very modern looking facility, but during our visit in 2010 it was priced on the high side - but being a popular site this is to be expected perhaps.
