Otok Zut: Marina Festa

CIYC review by Paweł W
We visited this facility as part of our late September cruise in Croatia. When you enter the Vodopije bay on Zut island there are three marinas. The one on the left is Festa marina (http://www.zut.hr/eng/contact_info/lokacija.asp). At the docking we were told that it is free however you need to pay for electricity (100 HRK for 10 hours selected by Festa staff) and you need to pay for service special fee at the restaurant. There is only one very poor toilet in the facility (without hot water and with curtain on open air).
Whole cruise was excellent apart from our visit to the Festa marina.
[Editor’s Note: in the spirit of fairness this sounds like a case of informed is forewarned and clearly Pawel W was not aware he would have to pay for water and power at this facility. It is worth noting that this is not uncommon at some of these smaller micro-marinas attached to restaurants. This is particularly the case in remote locations such as the Kornati National Park, where the water and power (though included in the price of mooring) is only available between certain hours at ACI Zut and also ACI Piskera.]
