Pipo Quay, Uvala Luka , Brac
Situated on the north shore of Brac near its eastern end this inlet is one of the most sheltered anchorages in the area offering excellent all round protection from just about any weather (though some easterlies can create a swell in the bay). As well as opportunities to anchor or take a buoy you can also moor against the fixed concrete pontoon in front of the Konoba Pipo.
On shore the Konobo Pipo (4 flags) offers excellent, if basic, local fare, particularly lamb cooked over an open fire. There are also rooms to rent, toilets (accessible to those who have paid a mooring fee on a buoy or at the jetty) and water for those at the the jetty.
Uvala Luka is part of a three armed bay which includes the town of Povlja in an arm that runs to the south-east. There you will find a small harbour with berths that include laid power and water. But of the three arms of the bay Uvala Luka offers by far the best shelter.
